Artificial Insemination (AI) involves the strategic placement of semen into the uterus of a cow or heifer during or just after oestrus. The process uses frozen semen straws, which are thawed and inserted into an insemination gun. This device is carefully guided through the cervix to deposit the semen directly into the uterus. By using a synchronisation protocol, we can inseminate at the correct time of the oestrus cycle.
By utilising the latest and most proven synchronisation protocol, we can minimise labour costs and reduce the number of yardings. Typically, an AI program requires only 3-4 yardings in total.
Embryo Transfer (ET) is a reproductive technology that boosts a cow’s genetic potential beyond natural breeding. It involves non-surgically collecting embryos using a catheter inserted into the uterus. A special fluid flushes out the embryos, which are then filtered, sorted, and graded. These high-quality embryos can be transferred to recipient animals immediately or frozen for future use.
We provide on farm & on centre donor collection and management.
We provide 60 day bred recipients to suit your needs. We source recipients best suited to your situation. We select only suitable animals and ensure they are in optimal health ready to enter a program. These recipients will have embryos implanted and the PTIC recipient will be purchased after a successful pregnancy is achieved [embryos provided by the client].
Full tank semen and embryo inventories.
We provide on farm services for all needle work, including vaccinations and synchronisation programs.
